Made from carefully selected, natural coconut fibre, free from chemical adhesives and unpleasant odours, this product is fluffy, soft and moulds to the shape of the henhouse. It mimics the natural environment of a grass nest in the wild, reducing stress in hens and increasing their willingness to lay eggs and brood them.
The three-dimensional, fluffy structure of the coconut fibre provides strong elastic cushioning, absorbing shock and protecting eggs when hens enter and leave the nest or when eggs roll. This significantly reduces shell damage and breakage, thereby minimising losses in poultry farming.
Coconut fibre naturally features breathable pores that rapidly absorb moisture from droppings and egg fluid, preventing the nest from becoming damp and stuffy; a dry environment reduces mould and odours, minimising poultry skin conditions and issues with soiled eggshells.
Each set contains 24 sheets of bedding, sufficient for simultaneous use across multiple nests, making it convenient to stock up; the individual sheet size is compatible with standard domestic laying boxes, and the flat-lay design ensures simple installation and easy replacement.
Coconut fibre is highly durable; once soiled, it can be rinsed with clean water and dried in the sun for reuse, and is resistant to rotting and crumbling; compared to disposable paper liners, it offers greater cost savings for long-term rearing.
Suitable not only for laying hens and free-range chickens, but also for use in incubation and resting nests for Rutin chickens, pigeons, quails and ornamental poultry; ideal for free-range chickens in gardens, indoor cages and poultry sheds.
